1300$ Thats more than I paid for my 17x9.5 R-15s! I thought the later year GTA's (dimpled crosslace wheels) came with goodyear gatorbacks on 'em, so why would these have cooper tires on them if they've never been used?
What he more than likely means by "unused" is that these were bought over the counter at the GM parts dept. Problem is, Classic Industries has an EXACT repo GTA wheel for $600 for a set of 4!!!!

Yeah no one in thier right mind would pay 1300 for those. You would expect he would have some nice performance tires mounted on those instead of some no name Sears brand....

As far as i am concerned, no! Unless they have a GM stamp on the outside OEM, like the newer wheels, there would be no way to tell the difference IMO. Is there? I'm not sure since i do not own them. $600 is still a little steep for me. Add tires and you are talking around $1000. You could get some nice 17in for that but then again people, including myself like the look of those wheels. I perfer the black with polished lip though.
When I was looking for 16" wheels I came across a set of GTA wheels at a local car show. From a few feet away I thought it said $300, and this was with tires. So I was practically already grabbing for the walet when I asked the guy. Turns out the price was actually $1300. I laughed for quite some time, then walked away. Eventually I scored a nice set of Formula wheels with pretty new (like 3k miles on them) Z rated goodyears. Only paid $350 for all four.

As common as those wheels are now, $1,300 is extremely steep.
Maybe if they had a set of brand new Pirelli Nero-Zeros they and $500 taped to the wheels could fetch $1,300....
