i personally think black rims look stupid, put z06 chrome!! 400 times better

 

you should do what you like and not worry about others....9 out of 10 people think black wheels look like spares. who cares what they think. while you won't pick up girls or win shows....you'll be happy knowing you did what you wanted to.

 

Well I think they look sweet. There's a member with a black z with black rims and it looks badass.

 

i would never buy something just cause someone else liked them, i just wanted other's opinion's. the black wheels are starting to grow on me. if my car was white i would get those in a hart beat.

like i said, nothing wrong with them....although i think it's insane to pay so much money for a rim of that type only to cover it up. to each his own!

 

I would love to have black rims on my car, they look badass on white cars like mine but theres not many that you can actually get already black so you have to buy the rims then send em to get coated or something...looks good tho i like it

I think the rims would look much better if they were white. I like how white rims look on red cars. I am not a big fan of black rims...they just don't look right to me...there is just something about them. But if not white...then go with either chrome or painted. Better yet, go with what makes you happy. Nice car by the way.

Why not just photochop the Z06 rims on in chrome, silver and the black and see what you like the best.

I have a blue camaro too, I would go chrome for mine. I have white stripes so the black or silver would not look good on mine.

Just do the photochop and decide for yourself. I do think the black would look better on a different color car. just my .02 cents.

I like black wheels as long as they have a chrome or polished outer rim part, like black GTA wheels. That is what keeps them from looking like spares :P

im hoping my friend will powder coat his crome ZR1 rims on his vette black too. The crome is starting to get nazty.

 

I like it. The more black wheels I see, the more I want to powdercoat my ROH ZS's black. I had planned to powdercoat them gunmetal grey and mount them on a black car .... but the black wheels just look meaner than the gunmetal wheels. Plus they would match my 91's orange paint better than the gunmetal if I ever decided to put them back on the 91. Hmmmm......

Exactly. As long as you have a lip I think black rims can look real sweet. Hook me up with some black Z06's.

 

I like it, gives your car a completely different look.
