lots of places to see one.........unfortunately i can't find a picture for you. check out tpis.com since they make it.

i just got mine today, have to polish it though first!!

the thing is absolutely sweet.......such an opening inside, with this intake and combination of my 58 accel throttle body this car is going to really do some damage. i can take my whole fist and allmost touch the back going through the opening...

i'll have pics by monday or tuesday.

the car should be finished in 4 weeks and you'll see it all together.

if anyone has pics of a polished or even a normal one please post them!

The places i looked to buy one where thunderracing and summitracing and jegs but none of them had it, now i feel stupid for not trying tpis.com. Can't wait to your pics the one on the tpis site isn't that great.

no it isn't....a miniram looks like a heavily modified lt1 or lt4 intake that breaths better basically.

honestly i didn't care for the looks of it to much as it's essentially a stealth ram without the huge tall center piece. but it's growing on me. it seems you have to give up looks for speed most of the time.

expensive though.......extremely expensive.....they claim it adds roughly 90+ horsepower over the tpi intake to a stock engine??

we'll see......the bottom end is built for some heavy torque so i went with an intake that would help level out the horsepower and give me a nice high redline to really pull.

I didn't mean the intake was ugly i meant that the picture was crap. But yeah it doesn't look as pretty as the stealth ram but who cares if it's as good as it's suppossed to be. When you post pics of it can you include pics from differant angles so I can really see it, and also do you know how much better it is suppossed to be than the stealth?

ooooooohhhhhhhhh......

Mini ram

droooooooollllllllll........

I want one of those sooooo bad, but I am making my car look good before it is fast so the mini ram will have to wait.

I personally really like how they look. Although there was a pic posted of a stealth ram with big black valve covers that looked more than sharp. Those valve covers would be taller that the mini ram.

pics will come in time....

as far as the power, i'm not sure what the stealthram runs? what are the numbers suppose to be over a stock tpi setup....as in if you just bolt it on how much do you gain?

they say the miniram is good for 90+ untouched with a low stage chip basically to make sure it runs smooth. they say a good 130+ with just a cam upgrade.

i had it ported to match my heads and a specific chip for everything i plan to do plus a very good cam for the application so we'll see. i'm hoping for a minimum 400 horse at the wheels and 450+ torque. the shortblock an heads i've done are suppose to be good for close to 550/550 at the crank.....it will either work well or fall flat on it's face. let's hope well!

finally have some real speed to back up the neons!

I think a set of side covers like the LT1 vette would make it look better. Maybe painted the same as the car?

Just a suggestion...

Actually the LT1 Vette covers won't fit a MiniRam, I've tried it. You would have to modify them but if you did they would be the shiznit for sure:rockon:

why didn't they fit? how much modifying would be necessary you think.

would it be easier to just make your own?

I can't say for sure because it was on 92 Firehawk #026 that I tried to fit them on and there are a few things about that car that aren't the same as a regular F-Body engine...
