eggs

some people are real ****ing *******s. anyways, i went to a winter formal for my school. and of course, i take my firebird to impress my date. but to my dismay, when i return to my car after the car, it is covered with 24 eggs!! 2 dozen ****ing eggs. not only that , but its cold here (15degrees), and the eggs froze to my car. so now i have 24 eggs frozen to my car. how do i get them off, and will they do any damage to my paint? i'm just so ****ing mad right now, sorry.

Warm water and hope that it doesn't damage the paint. The longer you let it sit the worse it will get.

The eggs will probably leave hazy spots on the paint. You should be able to remove the haze with a little polish and wax. I was riding with my friend one night in his 89 firebird, and out of nowhere, 3 eggs came flying from behind a fence and nailed the windsheild and hood. I had my window down, too, and one of the eggs missed going inside the car by inches. We pulled into the neighborhood, got out and looked all over the area where they came from but couldnt find anyone.

Damn punks. I hate vandals so much. Warm water will get the egs off and then poish the paint and it sould be gone. 1991 Z-28, for once i'm glad I live out in the middle of the woods isolated from mad g/f's.

If it does mess up the paint, you can just buff it out...good luck.

eggs contain enzymes that act acidic . . . at least to clearcoat and paint.

it will haze - and you will need to apply a mildly abrasive liquid to do the job or removing the leftovers.
3m swirl remover, as an example will do it - or find a friend with a detail shop who will do it for a few bucks . .
there are other store bought liquids to do this - but keep it mild. It is better to do it two or three gentle times, than regret going too hard the first attempt.
