i'm debating this cuase its cheaper than the full hood.

campared to
450+ for hood that will still need finishing
and wont have stock fitment.

what do you guys think?

I think it looks pretty kewl....but..I'm not sure that I could install it though...so....I just went with the whole SS hood...

The only thing you would have to worry about it is the glass seperating from the hood if you twist it while opening the hood.

Yeah..I noticed that too....that looks more like the 98-02 SS hoods.....

why not just buy a 78-79 Z28 hood scoop it looks the same as the new SS hood and is about 70 bucks from JC whitny

Yeah, but the ASCD hood is all fiberglass.....and in my opinion fits the lines of the 3rdgen camaro nicely....It would be interesting to see that one though, so if you do decide to go with it, post some pics!
