Wheelie Burnout Smoke, is it possible???

Well my buds and i were looking at the Charger race at the end of the F&F...

Were still dabating if its possible to pull a wheelie while smoke the tires...Traction = wheelie no traction = burnout...

Come on dude use common sense... In order to lift the front end, you need traction. When your smoking your tires, do you have traction?

In that scene it actually has a little system underneath that raise the car that was digitaly removed.

'little system' being hydraulic presses. I hated that scene of it!!

One other side note - anyone notice the car jumps into the air, BEFORE the sidewalls wrinkle?

Of course, had they used a REAL charger, one that would lift the wheels like that, it'd be SOO far ahead of the Supra, there'd never had been a chance!

Its easier to airbrush smoke over the hydraulic lift under the car, than to just airbrush out the lift.

How do they jump off a flat ground is what I was always tying to figure out.

I saw it happen once so yes it is posssible but to continue to pull the wheels like they did in the movie no. The car I saw had the wheels about a foot up and when he hit the juice they came up about six more, the tires lit up, he got mad tire shake and got out of it.

Dude,

I know its totaly fake in the movie but in real life i'm just woundering... Like someone said before, i did see it ONCE at the track., a monte carlo, was pulling out of the hole on its back, but lost traction for a milisecond and smoked them a little and continued down the track.

Just woundering if it could be done intentionally...?

For fun
