A pic of my Camaro
Ok, I tried to e-mail it to you, and it would not go through. Said the file was too big. I shrank the file down to 57,866 bytes, and it still will not post or e-mail...what gives?
Well....hell, there it is...sort-of. I attached it using the attach file thingy at the bottom of the post. How do I actually put it in the post? When I click on the "img" button, it gives me a window to type in an address?

The pic has to be uploaded to the internet. YOu can upload 3 to the reader's rides section. Then right click the picture, click properties, and copy and paste that address in where the address box comes up when you click IMG.

It is a small cowl scoop, rivited to the hood, and bondo'd/fiberglassed to make it look smooth where it was rivited. It is currently non-functional, but that will change when I get the time and money. My father in law attached it before he gave me the car, and he sanded the fiberglass too far down, and now it is peeling off.
I don't know exactly where he got it, unfortunatly.
I don't know exactly where he got it, unfortunatly. Yup, you heard "free"! He bought it for, like, $1200 or so. Did a little work, tune up, basic stuff, really. Bought the hedders and pipes and glasspacks. Put on the scoop. Then, his girlfriend, who paid for it, asked him to sell it because she was afraid he'd kill himself driving it.
So, he offered to sell it to me for what he paid for it, and would include all the extras a no charge. My wife agreed, so I took possetion, with the understanding that I would pay him when we got our tax return. Along comes Christmas, and we get a card with the title enclosed. They decided to give us the car for free!
Yeah, it is a little rough, the paint dosen't look as good as it does in the pic, and the interior still smells like smoke, but it has a good foundation to build on. Unfortunatly, I had to take off the salad shooters. The tires were bald and out of balance, so they are being stored in my mom's garage until I can afford new tires.

At the moment, though, the spacers are being stored with the rims. Right now, it just has stock 14" camaro rims...white with dirt encrusted in them, of course....When I get to the point of having it painted, I am thinking either a really dark blue/almost black, or jet black, glossy, of course. On the other hand, I have always liked the look of a thirdgen in hunter green.

The weatherstripping is crumbling, a little rust here and there...typical wear and tear for a 19 year old car, I guess. Nothing a little TLC won't fix...and a little money, of course.
