I think the second one looks better. But I also think there are some things you can do to the white fluid tanks on both sides of the engine to make everything match. Maybe paint them the same color as the body? Paint the top part dark, but around the lines that you use to measure the fluid level, paint it lightsly so you can still see though. I think that will make the engine bay even better than it is now. Get rid of the white so all people see is red and chrome/billet.
thanks guys for all the compliments......!
CrazyHawaiian, i agree that it throws things off a bit, i wanted to leave them out but i couldn't find some custom canisters in time and since i do put about 10,000 miles a year on the car through may-october i need them there. while the pictures are really bad pictures they give the general idea. it does look better in person though but thankyou for the suggestion!

jason, they are shorter........they make two versions you can pickup. i didn't need the extra height that yours provides and with the extra short miniram intake i felt it complimented quite well. if i had gone with the taller covers it would almost look funny. they sure are beautiful though.
as far as specifics i can't tell you much. the engine is set at an almost stock compression to my previous L98 for the two power adders. it is a 383 with a forged bottom end using the miniram III, tpis best cam for my setup and a stage 6 prom. i used march serpentine billet brackets and pulleys which caused me to relocate the alternator. i dropped all the emissions and ac equipment. added the hunter motorsport caster/camber plates. replaced my stock a arms and k-member with a tubular chromoly setup with coilovers and lastly replaced the majority of lines with braided (that's where it hit the wallet the most).
still alot of work, but i'm getting there.....thanks again everyone!
