So how many with GTA wheels on a Camaro?

haven't seen to many here. however they were pretty popular back in the day and i see alot of them in my area. no so much true gta wheels but the black lace with polished lip.

definately a nice classic wheel when clean!

 

those wheels are fugly on any car.. i dunno what people like about em.

 

Just guessing I'd say theres less than 5 active members with those on thier Camaro's.

I had them on my old p.o.s. for awhile. They are back on the bird now though.

I think the black GTA wheels look equally awesome on camaro or firebird

 

i prefer them on a gta....but a black or white camaro they look really nice too in my opinion.

i dont have them but i want a set, im painting my car ether cobalt blue with siler pearl in the paint, or a kind of electron blue, with the black GTA rims, or some black powercoated ZR1's or ZO6's.

GM thought they looked cool enough to put them on their one off LT5 25th Anniversary Camaro. With the right color I think the look awsome. Lookin' good NEEDforSPEED:rockon:

 

Theres also something called CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. And not to mention the fact wasnt about who thinks the wheels were 'fugly'. Its about who has them on their car.

You would be in the extreme minority on that one because you are the only person I ever heard of that didn't like them.


The GTA wheel is one of the few multi spoke wheels that look great on almost any car.




How many of you are running the Front GTA wheels on the rear like me and how Zepher used to when he had the wheels.

 

In them pics, it is the same set of rims for both of my cars.. Soon I'll have a set for both the cars.

We took a 91 Z28 in on trade a few months back, the car is white with a nice set of gold GTA wheels. They look really sweet on the car but if they stay they might just turn black. Black GTA wheels look great on any thirdgen and don't look GTA specific like the gold ones do. Also GM had a 91/92 prototype camaro for the upcoming anniversary car that was in a few mags and made the shows. It had black Gta style wheels and looked bad *** and you could say Gm used them on (a) camaro so they are not pontiac only Someone will have the pictures and might just post them if you ask.

i have them on mine....i love them......and with the 4th grn rear it gives the car a more aggressive stance since the wheels stick out a tad...

and to the guy that said they were gay.......they were the lightest 3rd gen wheels produced and if they were good enough for road racing cars and the heritage camaro...they are cool enough for me...

the more I see these rims the more I want a set for my Z. I have IROCS on it now and I just want to be a little different and since nobody around here even has the black ones I want a set soooooo bad.

 

A guy in Toronto has a set on his yellow IROC. It's one of the nicest looking thirdgens i've ever seen. Have any of you guys ever picked up one of your GTA rims without a tire mounted? It feels strange because they're so light.

 

i heard that they only weigh something like 17 lbs. as for selling my wheels, i probably wont until the end of summer (2 jobs this summer), because i dont have the 1100 plus cost of tires for the firehawk rims

One of the very few third-gens here in Qatar is a sweet black RS with GTA's on it. Im hoping i see it again so i can talk to the guy.

Really? That's heavy! I'm just getting back into having Chevys again after a long time with Fords. 16x7 Mustang GT wheels are only 19lb....

If KagA is right, 17lb is pretty decent.
