Looks good, Jim. Why does the part# on GMparts direct come up as a water pump pulley?

I've got a brand new one. I'll sell it for $35 shipped to the lower 48 states. My friend ordered the wrong year A/C Delete pulley.
email me if you want it, zepher@transamws6.com

...stainless headers would go a long way to cleaning up the look of that engine bay. Gorgeous ride, otherwise.

AC Delete Pulley?

Why wouldnt you just get a smaller belt instead of putting in that pulley thing. Im not trying to be rude or anything, im just curious?

your not being rude at all! however like some people including me i didnt want to cut up anything or relocate it, so i was kinda going for a factory appearing job.. using the right parts to get the job done..

your right though some people have used their creativity and made an successful serperntine setup without using the a/c delete pulley and more pwer to them..

i did things the easy way, i didnt mind spending the money on it to make it look like it came from the factory that way..

the problem with just getting a shorter belt is the tensioner is right there nest to the AC and you have to have another pulley right by it to bear the main weight of the belt.

hey guys, for those of you who haven't gotten teh standard heating box yet but installed the pulley, how'd you cap off the ac lines, just use some tape or plugs or what? and also can someone take pictures of the lines that are connected to the radiator? thanks in advance

hey man there are no a/c lines going to the radiator..

you need to take the radiator support off the top then you can pull the big old condensor out

good luck doesnt take long be careful though..

hmm, so you mean that i just have to unbolt the condensor, remove radiator support, and then just pull all the lines out from underneath and i won't have to plug anything up? Could you take a pic for me if you get a chance, still not sure what you mean

no you unbolt the two bolts and then pull the condensor up out of the engine bay..

all this can be done working in the engine bay, no going under the car....
