How Many Notchbacks?

I didnt know where to post it so since it was body related i figured this would be ok. now then. how many notchbacks where made and for how long where they made. on some sites i see 718 and they were made in 88 and 89. others i see 640, made n 88 and 89. i thought there was 624 and they were made for only 88. whats the real deal here folks. set me straight. i was sure i was right but everywhere i see a different # it seems.

there's a few notchback owners on here, but i think frankie knows the most about them. here's his findings:

yeah that shows me im right and wrong. iguess thats why ive never seen an 89 Notchback...cause they only made one. but the source page is what i was using before. i thought this was right and still think this but why do so many sites say 718?(i think thats the number at least that they say)
