Thats your car? If so I know your in the so cal f body club hehe. edit : oh I see your just putting up ideas, I used to think the ram I hood looked the best but now Ive been swinging more towards the more agressive look of the ram air II hood.

If your thinking about going to a 91-92 bumper your gona have to change your head light doors and the 91-92 style is a little harder to find so its more expensive than an 87 cover but if thats what your gona do go for it!

I vote for the Ram-Air I with the '91-'92 nose (as you can tell from the sig, see pics). I love the look of the ram-air II hood, but I've yet to see one on a 91-92 bird that fit correctly. If it werent for the poor fitment, I would definately vote for the ram-air II, but if your keeping the 87 front end I dont think you have to worry about fitment problems. But I say do what you want!!! It's your ride!!

Joe.

I like a 91-92 Trans Am front. As for the hoods, I think the ram air I hood fits the lines more, but I like the style of the II hood, even though it dosn't match the body lines.

Yeah, how about it? It is really accentuated on the black cars in pictures #1 & 2. The car with the RA II hood looks like it was wrecked and put back together wrong because the gaps are so uneven... but it is just the way the hood fits (or I should say-doesn't fit). I love that hood but I wouldn't put it on my car that way. You'd have to pay a bodyman to fix it so it lines up right.

I have an 87 and I dream about the Ram Air II. That is going to be my next exterior mod.

damn

as you can see from the ics i have attached, the hood as far as i can tell is made for a 85-90, and would need modding for a 91-92

Well I will soon see how the ASCD Ram Air II will fit with a KITT nose. The 82 will have the 2. That and a pewter & black flames paint scheme!
