2 things,

A. Thanks for bringing this 5 month old thread back from the grave,

and

B. whats wrong with being different, when was the last time you saw a viper V10 in a camaro? Oh wait, you haven't. Sure he could have built a high horsepower chevy motor for less money, or swapped in a C5r block, or shoved a nitro breathing DRCE block in there, but he wanted to be different.

It's his car, so why rip on him, if you don't like the idea of a dodge motor in a chevy car, then don't do it to yours.
But don't flame on this guys creativity.
Why not applaud him on the marvel of fabrication it took to get that motor to work in a 3rd gen. and the funny thing is, im sure this guys car will kick just about anyones *** on the board.

 

hey newbie... chill out! V-10 in his car might be a little off, but its cool that hes doing it. Personaly, i try to stay GM in and out of the car, but to put an exotic engine in your car like that... i think thats cool... i cant imagine what the stearing linkage looks like, or how he got headers and other drivetrain stuff to work.. but if he got it all working... that is cool! Personaly, if im gunna drop over 20k for an engine... its gunna say 427 on the valve cover.

 

if im gonna drop 20k for a motor its gonna say "Hardcore 632" on the valve cover

I like it. Not how I'd spend the money but definitely a sweet ride nonetheless. Anyone have pictures of that Acura Integra that has the Viper V-10 in it?

 

And I know someone mentioned this earlier, but I'm gonna have to say the Dodge Viper is arguably one of the best sounding cars right out of the showroom (meaning modified SBC's don't count!). Some guy around here has a 2001 GTS and when he gives it gas:hail:
