Minus the notch, that car is gorgeous. Looks extremely clean and well taken care of.

Sweet! I have an 88 GTA as well. Mine's not a notchback though. I've never seen one in person. I've only seen one other GTA in my area for that matter. I love that gunmetal grey. If I'm not mistaken, 88 was the only year Pontiac made the notch back. I think they look awesome, but it also makes an already small cargo area even smaller! Love the paint though. How about some pics of the interior? Matt

Very nice ride. Is that the original paint? What are your mods, it doesn't look stock...?

Yes 88 was the only year that the notchbacks were made amd the paint is not original. I had it painted about 2 years ago after i had a accident with her. As for the mods ill try to the list short but here goes:
- 355
- Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads
- holley stealth ram
- zz4 cam (soon to be changed) with 1.6 Roller rockers
- hooker headers
- Flowmaster catback minus the cat
- holley DFI
- Eibach sportline springs
- koni adjustables (yellows)
- 1LE brakes on all four corners
- oh and a 200 shot of nitrous

Thats all the major stuff for now theres too manys things to list. Ive got new carpet and sparco seats on order for it and rims are soon to come. Heres a few more pics for you.

It came with all the emblems and side moldings but i left everything off after i painted it cause i think it makes the car look cleaner. As for the time ive invested in to her, there are countless hours cause i do everything myself, but looking at her it was all worth it.

What's the deal with that dash? Did you make it or is it a notch back thing? It reminds me of a C4 instrument panel.

I like the notch as it's rare. Anything that you don't see much off always grabs attention.

its the digital dash that came out in the GTA's. The rear seats are different on the notches. they have a molded in head rest. Any chance you can show us a good pic of that?

Your GTA sucks. Drive it off a cliff and do us all a favor.

lol, just kidding there.

It looks like a work of art. That is the first time I have seen a GTA notchback in Gunmetal grey. Very nice. There are just so many nice thirdgens that I am jealous of.

Thanks everyone, ill try to get some pics taken of the back seats tomorrow. As for the laptop, yes it is to control the Holley DFI.

wlsmoku What is your HP and TQ? I am pretty interested in the stealth ram, and I am curious how you like yours?
I love the stealth ram i noticed a huge difference in midrange power after its installation but I find that because the ZZ4 cam is so close to stock on the intake side that im not taking full advantage of the mods to my motor. I would say that the stealth ram is an awesome buy If you get the engine combo right it will keep up with any superram/miniram or lt1 intake and a faction of the cost.

when i first saw the factory notchback, i thought it was kinda ugly, then i saw the gtauto notchback, and i liked that one much better, cuz it flowed with the same line the normal hatch went. i was planning on buying it eventually then i saw the original again, and now i love it, and would never buy gtauto's.

TA88GTA, your car is awesome, i love the notch, but for that reason, i hate you

I would love to have a notchback myself, but getting one is almost like the holy grail, and if you do manage to get one, they cost a grip. I wonder why no one has reproduced the factory notchback?
