New LT1 Intake pics
I got the intake back today, powdercoated high-gloss black. Then I polished the fins and fuel rails, neither of which came out very good at all. The fins have some pitting
but over all I think it looks sweet. Heres one pic, more can be found here

I do not have an LT1 engine, just the intake which has been modified to fit an L98 engine. For info, check out www.lt1intake.com.

I would do a miniram or lt1 for 75 in a mirror black with glossy clear..
I did a Complete TPI. Im talking, plenum, runners,tb,plenum extension, waterneck, intake, fuel rails, adj. fpr. valve covers In Almost Chrome for $175.
lt1's and minirams are so much easier.

Lo-Ko performance coatings in Oak Lawn, IL did the powdercoating.
Thanks Jim85IROC, I'll look into some aluminum valve covers

TPI falls flat after 4500 rpm hehe. Yeah the LT1 intake gives you more top end power. I'm not sure on the specifics, but you can do a search to find out. I'm thinking about doing the LT1 intake conversion and 749 ECM swap (cheap!) if I decide not to go with the Holley StealthRam/Commander950 ($$$) Combo
