older vette wheels

what size spacer would be needed to fit some 86-92 (C4) 'vette wheels on a thirdgen? They're 17x9.5 if that helps

That depends on what year it is. 84-87 had a 36mm offset, and 88-present used a 50 or 52mm offset, just like the 4th gen cars.

If it's the newer style, you can get the spacers designed to work with any 4th gen wheel. If it's the older style (which wouldn't be the case with a 17" wheel unless it's an aftermarket), you'll probably have to pay for some custom made spacers.

ha i found a pic of my old firebird before i tore into it ...

89 Formula 305 tpi 5spd, it was rotted out and i tried to fix it, but i traded it it for the 355 in my car, but got to keep the 5spd, but now i have the car back for parts, and paid 300 for it.

It looked awsome from a distance, but when you got upclose.... it was pretty bad, hole in the fender, there were holes in the doors, after i pushed on em a little bit to check em out, when i bought the car i was 14, and paid for half of it which my half was 400, and it sat in my yard for about a year so i think that didnt do it so good.
