Check out this IROC , very nice, but look at the asking price.

Thats no mistake, its been on other places before. Good top model Third Gens are starting to be worth more, but this guy is trying to take full advantage of it and beyond even though it does have incredibly low mileage, he should be asking about half of that maybe.

The question is who is willing to pay $30,500 for a 2000 mile virtually BRAND NEW 88 IROC. I mean theres no other ones out there for sale with those kind of miles, is there? And its got all the options. I would say its worth at least $20,000. His asking price is high but its not completely unreasonable.

I agree, the 30k is high, but when are you ever going to get a chance to buy a brand new third gen. People spend that much on new SS's, nice cars, but I would still rather have a mint third gen.

I'd probably buy it for that much! I agree that these "brand new" thirdgens are hard to find...and that any asking price between 20-30 grand is reasonable. I'd love to get my hands on one of these and relive my childhood....driving around in my dad's brand new '86 IROC.
Just prior to buying my IROC in 2000, I almost bought a Black 89 IROC with red interior for $9k. The car had 2900 miles on it and was fully loaded. A few days before I went to pick it up, the seller decided to "keep the car in the family" and give it to his son. Needless to say, I was just a little pissed!

remember chet's red iroc with like just under 3000 miles on it , like 2719 or something, his name was raptory660r or somthing, that car was awsome, and he took so many pictures of it, just showing every little detail, although when he bought it he took the decals of the door, he showed a pic before he did it..

I just searched about the entire country for my car, and saw many of these rediculus prices on camaros. Some people think they can get a ton for them now just cause they stopped making them. There was a 92 heritage Z convertable, white/red stripes on ebay with like 3000 miles and they were asking 36000. Oddly enough the guy had a matching v8 rs and v6 rs that he wanted like 30000 and 25000 for. Go figure....
