He means the posts that actually come down and connect with the decklid. At least that's what the firebird guys have had to do.
Extending requires some 'glass work.

this is made for the firebirds to fit right on, so the camaro decklick holes might not line up, but thats your best bet to go with i would think.

i like the look of them.

Well my hole hatch "glass, lid, wing etc etc" is a 87 GTA
i might get a 2000 trans am wing but if theres going to be to lots of moding to the lid forget it... all just buy another hatch from a junk yard "how much them run for?" because there know since wrecking a PERFECT! GTA hatch...
MdFormula350, iv seen that id like to have that, but i got more time then money right now...
Well heres some more pics of a 2000 ws6 trans am...

Do a search, there are people who have put one on a firebird and its exactly the same. Why don't you get an aftermarket 4th gen spoiler instead of trying to make a stock 4th gen one fit?

The spoilers from '93 - '02 are all the same on the Trans Ams. (but a few of the '93-'95 TAs got the low level firebird spoiler)

Well I know of at least 2 people on here that have done it. Scauffiel, but his website is down for some reason..
And there was a half purple/half primer camaro on here that had one on his car. It also had a SS hood so it might be the camaro above, however I don't remember those rims. AFAIK all you have to do it extend the 2 center posts down to meet teh hatch. You will just have to do some fiberglassing.

I had no idea that the 4thgen wing was so thick. I always thought the aero wing on the Camaro look peculiar. The 4thgen wing looks much better for some reason.

Another member has done the real TA wing, NOSaint or something like that. He has the TA with the 18" rims and a paint scheme just like the New Orleans Saints.

Body color. Black would look better if you had black ground effects. Black doesn't look bad though.

Might as well paint it body color- Don't you have to paint the driver's side anyway where you ran it into your garage doorframe?
