Ripped off some paint :S

Hey guys,
I was removing my bump guard off my car, and I kinda took a chunk of paint off! It's no larger then my thumb, but it's blantantly obvious on a black car. Do you guys have any tips on making the big ugly grey go away? Some touch up paint or something? How does it get shiny again? how do I apply it? aah!

I had about a dime sized chip of paint come off inside one of my headlight pockets when one of my GTS headlight covers blew off. I just got some testors enamel model paint and put some of it on a flat toothpick. I didn't use a brush since you would see brush marks. I put the paint on the toothpick kind of thick (just a drop) and applied to the desired area as quickly as possible. Only spreading the paint out and not pressing hard enough to feel the plastic underneath the paint with the toothpick. The longer you work the paint (spreading it around the area) the faster the paint will set up and you might see streaks. Just make sure that you put enough paint on the toothpick the first time so the you don't keep applying more paint since the paint will have more time to set up and you might see paint streaks. I hope that helps. It came out looking great on my car; the only problem on mine was that the color of the paint didn't quite match, otherwise it would have came out looking almost perfect. o'well
