NEW VIDEO: Great American Cruise. Burnouts, donuts, etc. F-bodies, w00t!
I went to the Great American cruise in Beavercreek, OH at Quaker Steak & lube. The folks from the Northern Kentucky F-Body Association and StangBangerz.com all got together and as they were leaving they tore the place up with donuts, burnouts, etc. right in the middle of the street... and the security people were okay with it! It was great. Check out the video here. (56k-er alert, it's 28 megs)

There's an awesome thirdgen in this video which is why I think I can justify posting this here (please don't lock me....). He doesn't do any stunts that I caught on film, but it sounded amazing and scared the crap out of me... I was standing behind it and it sounded stock, until he revved it up and I about wet myself.
All in all it was a great event. First car show I've been to in years that featured domestics only.

Haha, I know it was great... they had the "security" people with walkie talkies and stuff and they let it go on for quite a while before they were like "Alright, that's enough of the burnouts...." They were actually stopping incoming traffic so that people could show off and do a burnout or donut and take off, and then they'd just let them on through....

What do you mean by select a driver?
You should just be able to right click on the video and choose "Save As...", and then save it to your computer. From there, just double-click it and it should open in Windows Media Player.

If there's ever a thirdgen meet anywhere remotely near me (Dayton, OH) I'll definitely be there with a camera ready.

Nice vid. That should give you some ambition to swap out the Tranny.
lol, indeed. My car's sitting in her new home now (we are in the process of moving... only about a mile away max, but a much bigger house, and she's got a two-car garage now), so that should help.

If it's only displaying sound, you probably need to update your Windows Media Player.
I tried two times to get the video and both times the download stopped mid movie. I was able to watch about 30 seconds of it and the movie was cut off. What causes this? How can i fix it?
the movie looked pretty bad *** from what i saw of it, nice job guys.

Cool video overall but you have to stay still while taping or use a cam with steady shot. The jumping of the video gave me a headache. Otherwise very nice.

Did you try right-clicking on the link and saying "Save As..." like I've told others?
Thanks for the compliment.

If it had been planned we would've gotten a steadier shot, but it was a spur of the moment thing.

I live in Huber Heights, and I work about a mile down the road that Quaker Steak & Lube is on, in Beavercreek (Colonel Glenn Hwy.)

Heh yeah, would've loved to have had more thirdgens, but it was still an awesome cruise.
