SS Hood Or Cowl Induction?

SS Hood Or Cowl Induction?

What Should i get I have a carbed 305 '86 Z28 And I'm Stuck on which one to get SS Or Cowl

Id go with the SS hood because they have more of a style, and everyone uses the cowl so its somewhat different. Also a friend of mine had a pretty good sized cowl induction hood and if your not using it cuz you need the extra size for the top of your motor then people will make fun of you. If your planning on building up your engine id go ahead and get a cowl. But if your just going for looks and style id go with the SS, But thats just my opinion

well see i need the clearance too. My carb is towered so high with the adaptors and To clear the fuel line. Thats the only reason im getting a new hood. If i didn't need it I wouldn't buy it. I always say Funtion over looks but thats just my .02

sorry to spam but thought just came to mind that I also want the one that will give me the most airflow so I can "ram air" alittle bit

I think they both look good, but the cowl edges out the ss hood. I just think it plain flow with the lines of a third gen better and looks badass.

....I got mine cuz around here...noone has the SS hood...it stands out alot..and I love it

Thanks Man, and yep, those are the stock foglights. I did add a set of the xenon gas filled bulbs in my foglights...and I think they are brighter then my actual headlights...haha
