Yours are 2nd design---they were exculsive to the Formula. Unlike the 87 Formulas which used 16X8 Trans Am wheels--look at the red Firebird in the post.

Here is the comparison

The 16x8 inch wheels improve the looks of the car so much.
and they are different from 15x7
Look close

That's my GTA when I bought it. The first purchase I made for the car was the correct wheels.

Purchased the T/A 3 1/2 years ago ...It was an older lady driven 2nd owner. She bought it in 1996 (with 6,000 documented miles) from the owner of a Pontiac dealership down in North Carolina. It's just seen alot of storage. She did however drive the tires off of it for 3 years so the mileage is nowhere near 6,000...Wish it was an l69....would probably have left it stock if it was...I feel like I'm driving a new car when out in it though. Very tight on the road with no rattles anywhere...

In those pictures the car had airshocks in the back w/ chevy s10 coils cut in the front and back in half... now have a 10switch hydrualic setup which gives me tons of clearance. I have also found it easy to airbag fbody's if juice or lowering coils arent your thing.
