How long did it take for the hood to show up??

I ordered one today and they said it may take awhile....

Just wondering how long it took you guys that ordered from ASCD.....

 

Took mine about a week and a half to get here.

 

they told me it would take 6-8 weeks. 2 weeks later on my front doorstep good people

 

I ordered mine during the last week of February and was told I should receive it by the middle of next week (beginning of March). After many aggrivating phone calls, I finally received my hood during the second week in April!

If they told me up front it was going to take 6-8 weeks, I would hav ebeen fine with that. However, each week when I called, I was told my hood would ship out in a few days. It got to be very old after a while.

Although it was a PITA to get, I was very happy with the way it looks on the car once I got it on and the car painted.

 

i ordered my ASCD big block hood from thirdgenresource.....it took about 3 weeks...came on a semi

 

I was one of the unlucky ones,as it took two months for me to receive mine.

 

Well thirdgenresource told me 2-6 weeks, which i found very vauge so i called ASCD directly and they told me about 2 - 3 weeks because they were back ordered.......

So we'll wait and see.........2 months is a bit ridiculous

ordered mine early April, i ordered a ram air 1 from ASCD through Thirdgen Resource, still waiting.

 

I just don't like the fact that you have to pay for the whole thing up front before, then wait.......

i ordered mine from rex at american sports car..

it was a real hard time..

it was by no means their fault though.. they shipped it out the day they got the money order, but..some idiot at customs (i live in canada) took the paper work off and it sat at the border for like 4 weeks..

when i got the hood it had a huge scratch on it...but..the shipping company paid for that...sooo.....it fits good though and rex and his lady helpers were great to deal with..bent over backwards..

I ordered direct thru ASCD and it took almost 2 months to get here , grrrrrr .

 

Inspect the hood before you sign for it and the truck drives away!
Mine wasn't packaged very well, so it had damage.
I ended up just having a body shop fix it when they painted it, but it was still annoying to buy a damaged product.

It came today....


Talk about fast shipment, it was ordered the 7th of May....

Loaded on the truck for delivery on the 15th of May.....

 

I got my Ram Air hood in four days. Needless to say, I was surprised.

 

hey check this out. i just looked at www.ftforce.com at their hoods, and they said it only takes 10-14 days to arrive. something was kinda weird though. i'm getting the big block hood, and shipping for it was like $45, but the shipping for the ss hood was $80....don't know why there was any difference, but i'm gonna have to order from them cause of their shipping time. i was gonna order it from thunderracing.com, but theirs take 4-6 weeks......much too long

 

Keep in mind, that i was told 2-3 weeks BEFORE it was to be shipped out....

I was sent out in 6 business days....

So you never know, they just say that to cover themselves in case something goes wrong....
