you have a turbo in there? Show some pics of the whole engine cuz it seems like you got an awful lot of space between your block and radiator. Not calling BS just yet, i'll always give people a chance to back up their claims. Oh and also 12.69@112? Those are some good times you're throwing up, time slips?

there is A LOT of space infront of that 350... and that upper hose looks wrong... and how do you get the turbo bost to the engine, when there is a CAI blocking its path to the tb? ... better produce some really good pics of this engine soon... or the flag is going up

and also https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=160907 3 posts down he puts up a picture of his v6. sorry buddy, if you had a 350 with a turbo pushing 425 hp thats really not something to hide, especially when putting pictures of your car up on cardomain.

Lying about what is under your hood is the same thing many of the import guys do with the big ghey wings on thier front wheel drive cars. And it looks like you have stickers for crap you don't have.
Also in your technical specs thing on the left you say your engine is bored out? Then would not it be a larger displacement than 350 if it were 350? If you took the time to take pictures of your decals then you could have done the motor. A Turbo 5.7L engine is worth showing. Dirty or not. All I see is a V-6 with decals all over the engine bay.
Team Suicidal huh? Going up against a real V-8 is just that buddy.
Sorry if I am comming across as harsh but your sounding like a hippocrite.
The whole "Import guys don't get the whole 4 more cylinders thing." in your sig wouldn't seem to apply to you either. since your running only two more than most of them on a clearly base model bird. Your cars in nice shape but it is what it is.
So here it is

Sorry ya dont believe it. Honestly i don't give a **** i just wanted opinions of the site ,thats you're problem not mine i will try to get the slips scanned this weekend. All the old post you found were from when i still had the V6 all the pics on cardomain are of the V6. I swapped out the motor in december after i got it built the way i wanted it. My digital camerra isn't working and i havent found the warranty info yet. I will get pics up of the 350 along with newer pics on the domain site. The decal on the windshield pic is the newest. Yes my girlfriend has a V6 firebird. The 6 was the old one from mine she bought a bird "hulk" minus the motor for 800 it's pretty rough so we havent gotten any pics of it yet.

I read the text on that page of the car domain site. That is surely not what it says. It says heart of the beast showing off your mod stickers and your cold air intake. Then you go on to say you are going to switch to the dual snorkel setup because turbo lag sucks. Theres no turbo. Only a CAI for a V-6. So if you have missrepresented your vehicle than you should expect us to react negatively.
You clearly have a picture of a cold air intake on a V-6. On the site you make it sound like your embarrased to show off the bay because it's dirty. And it's a superstition thing? Oh please who are you kidding. Dirty or not, if I had a 5.7L turbo 350 I would show it. Dirty or in pieces. That's not stating that the wrong pictures are on there. It's trying to pass that off as something it is not.
You've got pictures of a homemade CAI and a K&N sticker. That does not look like a K&N filter. You have a Flowmaster sticker and a Dynomax sticker. Which is it you have on your car? I see stickers for things not on the car.
If you put up the site and said I don't have pictures of the engine bay that would have been one thing. But passing a V-6 off to people as a V-8 insults their intelligence.
If you've got all of these mods and you post a real pic of them on that car. Then I think the BS flags will be lowered. Until then I think I smell some uncle bens with a side of BS cooking.
So here it is again
P.S. I will apologize when there are pictures to confirm your specs.

Ok seeing as how the current pictures are of when the V6 was still in the car with the cold air intake setup i have taken the pictures of the engine off the site. That way no one can complain about it(although i know you still will). So page 5 now only has the picture of the alarm and amp wiring. The k+n filter i don't put on during the winter i have a crappy one i stick on so the **** they put on the roads won't eat it. The people before me put the flowmaster decal on. I don't know why when i bought the car it had it and i just never took it off. THe only other guy on the team with a half *** dijital camera is in nebraska so next week i should have some current pics of it. You have to take into consideration we are a bunch of kids. We don't have loads of money to spend on our cars and computer crap. We do the best we can. I got a raise last summer i'm now up to 7.00 an hour. After i dropped in the 350 i had saved up to build i couldn't drive the car for two weeks because i didn't have enough cash for insurance and gas. Lay off i could be driving **** but i chose a thirdgen. When it had the 6 i was in the 6 boards. I'm not trying to pass it off as something it's not. If i wanted to do that it would have said 502 big block not 350tpi trust me.

stickin true to my first call of BS, why not take progress pictures, or was it because you didn't want to show off? Especially since you asked an awful lot of question about how to tint your markers and such using vht, you suddenly know how to swap in a motor and put on your own turbo? Interesting indeed. calling BS right up until the second i see those pics of a 350tpi with a turbo, AND a time slip showing that ET

At 7.00 an hour I don't think you could hope to build up a 350TPI and fab up a turbo. Since there is no turbo kit for the car.
And then aquire everything you need to swap a V-6 for a V-8.
BTW K&Ns are reusable. So the dirt thing doesn't hold water. Besides were the filter would sit on a V-8 car, it's not like it would have direct path to dirt on the road. But then again if you had a V-8 in there you would be able to see that. Especially with all the knowledge it would take to custom fab a turbo for your car. I'm sticking with the BS flag until I see concrete evidence.

Just cause i was asking about vht doesnt mean i dont have the car knowledge as some of you who consider yourselfs "gods" when it comes to motors. Yeah i'm 17 but guess what i ain't dumb. I know more about cars then probaly half the people on this page. My dad had a 70 nova ss running 10.36@110 wheels up and all, Were building a 34 ford glass body looking at the upwards of 750 hp. DON'T JUST ASSUME BECAUSE IM not 40 years old i dont know what the **** im doing. 87ws6 just proved my point where my intake ran on the 6 is the same place it runs on the 350 do your research before trying to make me look like an ***.

ah. .im not 40,(im 19) and i know a chit load more then you do buddy, and my dad's car runs 17's... who cares what your dad has. But this is gunna start to flame up and get locked anyway. The point is dont lie about what you got, and then try to bring it here trying to trick us. And good luck with the BOV speaker...
im done here.
im done here.
So let me get this straight, you swapped in your turbo motor in december, but in the post listed above, which was in february you post pics of your v6? Let me guess they are old pics and your digicam has been broken since december?
Also did you never have one problem with your turbo motor? Not many people here have done that, yet nobody knows about your turbo motor and you haven't ever posted once on the power adder board either asking for help or giving help, except to ask about fake BOV's. If your going to lie, at least do it right, thats all I ask.

I don't see how *I* proved your point. The CAI doesn't sit where it would pick up dirt from the road. So the changing of the K&N filter is BS. Now what I may not have communicated clearly is that you could not use the same CAI for a V-6 and a V-8. So I don't see how I proved your point about anything. I'm not saying you have to be 40 to know everything.
I'm 24 and I surely don't know everything. Hence why I spend so much time on here asking questions. I've learned alot but by no means am I all knowing.
At 17 with a girlfriend (with the V-6 car looking for the fake BOV valve.) You wouldn't be able to put the money into your car and have enough fun to keep a girlfriend around for any length of time on $7.00 an hour.
Built 350=$2000.00 (I have done the research on this)
Turbo work=$3000.00 (at least this is about what everyone on the power adder board quotes.)
At 17 you would have to go to school and if you have any kind of girlfriend or social life you wouldn't have the time or money to complete this project. IF and I strongly state IF you could then I would applaud your ability and strength of resolve to complete such an undertaking.
In my opinion any guy that would undertake building a custom turbo setup for this kind of project would have to have used this forum at least once to make it through. No one who has ever done this has been able to do it without asking a question of someone at onetime or another.
To actually undertake that project and not use the collective knowledge on these boards when it is at their disposal and free I might add is a fool. Or a helluva lot smatter than anyone else on here. (Doubt that)
As a matter of pride I can't see anyone who has put together a turbo for his car looking for a fake BOV valve. The
flag stays flying high until proven otherwise.

Avalanche motorsports here in aurora did my turbo work. I'll try to find therir link and post it because they have a picture of the turbo work on it. I don't deal with them anymore. they sponsored my team for a while as is why i had their decal on my windshield for a while.
hard to see its on the center of the windshield. These were the first pics i ever took of it thats why it sucks.

You said earlier to lay off, that you could be driving a R|CER. Buddy, you drive a slow car with a small engine, which you've misrepresented purposly numerous times. You're in a "racing team", which you admit is full of R|CERS. The pic in your sig is photoshopped, and not even done very good. Dude, I'm not seeing how you're NOT a R|CER. Can you clue us in?
I somehow think that IF you had a Turbo 350 in your car, you could have managed to get a pic of that on your windshield before your new "racing team" sticker. I guess it goes to show that to you, stickers are more important. Sounds R|CE to me...
I don't care if you're 17 or 71. I don't care that you think you know more about cars than me. Heck, you might know more about cars than me. I have better things to do that sit here and claim to know more than everyone. There is ALWAYS someone who knows more than you, and I freely admit that. I'd rather be out working on one of my 3 trucks, my '84 bird, or one of my 3 boats, or my motorcycle than telling you how much I think I know. I just know that if you really had what you say you do, you would be so proud of it that you'd go get a 1 time use camera, throw them on a CD at walmart, and they'd be posted in no time. Untill we all see pics & slips, I think you will continue to get BS flags on you. Don't make me really bust your story up.
Here's mine
Look at it this way. We all know that stickers add lots of HP, and by not swapping in a 350, look at all that room you have!! Imagine how many stickers you could fit in there if you swapped in an Iron Duke! Maybe start an Iron Duke Racing Club? I mean if your windshield sticker bumps up your v6 to 425 hp, imagine what a BIGGER banner would do. Only thing left to do is paint the thing yellow. Good luck!

In your first post you say you have some 'newer' pics, not of the new motor though. Any person that claims to run a 350 with a turbo is going to run into some
without having any pictures or other members that have seen it. Surely someone you know has a camera. If not, does anyone live near Aurora CO
