i think it looks cool....maybe something outlining the lines like a lighter blue or purple orsomething....or get it airbrushed and it would have the same effect
well to get real complitcated i thought about, doing the outline, with a color, then have the bird airbrushed in flame colors, then put flames on the car real light/ghost, over lapping the bird, but i think that maybe be to much, , right now i have to finish taping the other side down, and make some adjustments to the feathers, and macthing both sides up to look identical

If it's gonna be done... I'd do it "Ghost" style...
Never really been a fan of those bird decals over the hoods of the older Trans Ams.. and I prefer the 1 tone look of the car overall.. but I think it'd be cool to get up close and see it if it's been ghost-painted on there..

Definately go for the blue ghost. I think it would look great with the tone of the current paint. I would bother about detailing the outline, unless it's a small line of ghost paint seperated from the main part.

I thought I was the only one to ever have that idea. Looks like you beat me to it! When I do mine I'm going to do it in ghost also. Should look sweet. Did you lay that all out by hand? Looks good. Be sure to keep us updated on the progress.
YES BY HAND
what i did was believe it or not, draw on my basecoat with regular white chalk, just use it real light, it will brush right off, but i drew the bird or half of it, then i once i got that down, i used tracing paper, to creat the other side, of coarse its not identical so you have to adjust, by eye, so far 16 hours to do what i have done now, i have it all layed out, now im deciding on colors, or what to do, , hell im even thinking of a base color change, i have a hard time when it comes to picking colors, just checked out some house of kolor kamaelon pearls, for a 2 ounce jar 302 bucks, i dont think so, besides they didnt even have the color i wanted, i like the green to orange, anyhow , how would a yellow car with a green ghost bird look
. since this is my play car and not a daily driver, i want something to turn people heads with, something bright,
what is the diffrence between pearl's and metallics, im not quite sure on that, i know metallic has flakes , and pearl is ? . i have so many color combinations in my head , and i cant decide, on what i want,
how about glow in the dark
, would be cool though

, would be cool though or better yet, i have allways like emerald green, some of the newer mustangs are that color, how about emerald green base, and then either a silver/bule ghost bird, like the color of a sprite can, , right now the base is black, of coarse, but my interior is all dyed black, so i gotta break it up some,

awesome color, exactly what i was looking for, , i believe i have a ideal now, when im done its going to be a head turner for sure, either people are going to love it or hate, im going to change the base color, so the bird inside, i probally will redo, to match the colors, that was just practice anyhow,
82 firebird got a guestion for you, is that just the pear color, or did you at a kandy coat of some color over the pearl, to get the shiny kandy color, , trying to fiqure out what is the cheapest way for me to go, bascially i have 3 choices,
1/ pear - can be used as base, and clear- looks like kandy,
2/ kandy- need a base, then kandy on top, then clear
3/ kandyfake- as i call it, but still reqiures two coats of colors to achieve the kandy look , but alittle cheaper then true candy, doesnt require a catalyst and its alittle easyer to work with,
anyone else have any more examples of kandy colors, pearls, ect,

That's just like a basecoat/clear coat, with the Tangelo Pearl being the base. It was pretty easy to do considering there was only one color to spray. Thanks for the comments on the bike by the way.
well i just ordered this color, to outline the bird, then i gotta choose another shade for the feathers, that im going to detail inside the bird , hard to explain, anyhow depending on how bright this is, and how it looks, i will choose what color i want for my base coat. its going to be something bright, , right now, im thinking, either, green/orange bird, yellow/orange bird, orange /with bright orange bird, and my base coat will be a kandy of some type most likely,
