will this tire size fit?

hi everyone.
im writing from chile.
i have a 89 iroc with original wheels.
a friend gave me a pair of 275/50/16 tires almost new.
can somebody tell me if they will fit the wheels and wheel's space.
doyou think they will look good?

I wouldn't go any bigger than 255's on an 8 inch wide wheel.

They will fit, but will they look good? No. Too much bulge in the sidewall can be a bad thing.

they will look like crap. The original 245's are already to wide for the 8 inch wheel IMO
