Spacers?

Im adding a set of 98 vette rims to my 88 camaro. it looks like i need 2" Adapters. What would happen if i used 2.25"? would it hurt anything? would it look funny? just stick out farther?
the reason i ask is causei have a good deal on 2.25" adapters.

They would stick out farther. .25" isn't much though.

I am running 2.25" adapters on all 4 corners. The rear is fine. Does not stick out at all and the fronts are fine too. Its just that there is rubbing in front but i think thinner ones up there would cure that a little. Either way, there will be rubbing from what everyone has said. I just do not drive like a moron and i take turns easy. good luck

ok so 2" in front and 2.25" in back would work well? But, 2.25" in both front and back would be ok too? Which is best?

Lets just say that if i had to do it over, i would go smaller in the front, maybe even 1.75". I am sure others will chime in for ya! good luck

And quite a few other members have vette rims, you may try to contact them directly....

I have spacers, but they are 17" rims, but no rubbing issues....

onmipotentgoku has those rims on his car, look him up on the search or something and email him and ask him what he did.

Or just go to: www.skulte.com they have all the info there.

If you have 1LE brakes, you can used even smaller spacers up front.

Really? The 1LE brakes make the front wheels stick out farther on our cars? Never knew that. Did the front wheels of the 1LE cars have different dimensions? Am i getting that right? Ya learn something new everyday!
