Some filling and primimg was necessary to get it perfect.

Body shop cost for the install was a little over $600.

That was from a very excellent shop too.

Kleins Automotive Restoration in Kenner, Louisiana.

They also did a true Candy Apple Red paint job for my 1980 TA Convertible.

Exactly, the older ones are too squared and boxey for that hood.

Very nice, mypontiac

I usually hate those hoods. But it looks at home on your car. Has to be the 91-92 front end. Lets see more!!:hail: Nice job and keep up the good work!

It's great to finally see one of those hoods on a Ta vert. That thing looks great, it really works with the ground effects of the 91 92's.

Off topic by request!

Hate to pass up a request to show off my TA's!!!

Please note that this car was driven from Georgia to Louisiana and once I pulled into my driveway it would not start again!!!!

Thus beginnith restoration.

I inherited some $$$ when my grandparents passed and put the money into a real candy apple red paint job and body restoration.

Just a little history in the life of mypontiac!!!

Thumbs up!!!

Looks nice and clean!!! Your's is the first RAII hood that I've seen that actually lined up with the '91-'92 nose. Thats the reason I went with the '97 replica hood, but from the looks of it yours lines up better than mine!! Makes me crave the RAII. Great work, man. Maybe one day I'll convert to that hood, but for now (financially) I'll have to stick with what I've got! Once again, sweet ride bro!!

By the way, did you say you were supercharged??? What kinda times you pullin' in that thing anyhow??!! Just curious. Later!

Joe.

Thanks crazyjoe!

No times on the car yet. But it was dynoed at 343 rwhp.

So I am told I will be in the 12's.

As my car is a convertible, I will have to install a 6 point roll bar to race it!!!

So for now I am just enjoying the ride.

In my opinion 'verts just dont have that "badass" air to them.

But damn, with that RAII hood, your car looks mean as hell.
