I was thinking about getting this hood when I do all of the body
work and paint next year and would like to see some pics of the
underside. I mainly want to get an idea of how to make it
functional before I decide to get it. Also, does any one have
pics of it on an 84z28, because I would like to know how it
looks with the nose piece on my car.

 

Not sure if this is the carb or tpi version, or what the difference is between them

 

Didnt know they made different versions. If they do, thats the first Ive heard. Thats the underside of my hood in that pic. I sure didnt make any choice when I ordered.

 

anyone notice that on monday at Thirdgenresource that the SS hood was $445... NOW is 550$!!!!!!!!! what the hell is up with that???

i called yesterday thinking it was 445$... much to my surprise when Roy said its now 550$!!!! screw that... talk about inflation.

 

Yeah screw that! You can get that hood for around 450.00 at fbodymotorsports.com. I bet other places too.....

 

well... no you cant.. Fbodymotorsports is the sister company to thirdgenresources... and if you check their site, its $550 too!!!!!!!

bastards... what the hell is up with raising the price over 100$??? i dont get it.. thats so mess up. i had all my money saved and i call to order.. and the damn thing is much more money than its worth when you include the 175$ to ship... bastards... all of them.

 

****...I just received a price sheet in the mail friday. The price in the book is 459.00.

That hood is nice but its not worth that kinda of money.
