Slime Green Paint Anyone?

Does anyone have a camaro that is somewhat the same color as this Corvette on this link ?

http://www.hotrod.com/roadtests/89158/

They call it Slime Green. I think it would look good with some black SS stripes.

that slime car is a pearlescant green and looks pretty cool. I've seen a few solid-colored booger green thirdgens and they look pretty lame. Bill Kirsch had the "Snot Rocket". It sure garnished a lot of attention, but it's definately a love it or hate it sort of thing.

That color reminds me of 2 things from my childhood. The original "Incredible Hulk" TV series with Lou Furigno and "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TEVELISION" where the kids would always get slimed.

well that vette isnt slime green
slime green is just a flat lime looking green

the color the vette looks like pagen green, its a kandy color, the basecoat is green, and then a enhancer coat of gold is sprayed on top, , im actually debating if that is part of the color i want to go with now on my car,

color preception is the act of normal life, or vice versa, let me explain ! when gm makes a car it somehow seems cool, becuase gm made it, but sometimes the same color can be put on a diffrent car and it looks awfull, now the guestion is , why ? , is it becuase we are all used to labeling certian cars with certian colors, well i say down with the naysayers, , and i say do it, inless its your daily driver

and one more thing get ready for the sterotype import bright colors, comments, hummmmm geeshhhhh, just becuase a non -import car has bright paint of some type, doesnt put it in the same class, i dont think, if anything the import scene got the colors from the muscle cars, just a thought, to fast to furiours my azzzzzzz

I have seen the car in person and it is a pretty neat color.

The car was for sale on ebay recently. It was starting at $100,000 for a 42,000 mile severely used '97 C5.

What if you threw some black SS stripes on it you think it would still look to import ?Either way for me just straight up green or Green with black stripes I think it would look cool. I live in Podunk ND now, so I don't think anyone will think it will look to import . This is the land of Muscle Cars!!! Of course if I took it back home to Seattle everyone would immediatly think I was trying to import out my RS.

I think also if you threw some American Racing Tourque Thrust 2's on there it would look tight with that paint. And that picture you posted, isn't that parts to one of Jesse James Choppers ?

And note to the moderator - why the hell can't you use the word **** ? you know it's that little white stuff you traditionally eat with asian food? What's up with that ?

no i like , i was just saying some hard core gen people might think its white beans, WHICH I DONT, IM ALL FOR BRIGHT COLOR SCHEMES

like you said, that color with dark green flames and the flames outlined with black that would look good,

as far as jessie james, i got that picture, off a custome airbrushing site, i think jessie did the same scheme but the orange he used was alot more brighter after they sparay intensifiey coat on it, that was killer to

actually if that paint job had a metallic sparkle to it (and maybe it does but it's bad picture quality) it wouldn't look to bad. But it looks like the color of the peas they gave you for lunch in elelmentary school. I dunno about that stripe , it goes good with the color though.

I think that last 3rd gen looked pretty good except id lose the stripe and that hood screams "look at me, im stuck in the 80's!" Also i dont care for the rims at all. I know they are IROC chrome rims but they are way to bling bling for me. Maybe some Simmons F-series rims with the spokes in body color, that would be sweet. To replace those stripes, maybe some 1st gen hockey stick stripes in that darker green would look cool.
