Yea well i'm erasing all my profile crap and leaving. This is starting to get to be b.s. I show you pics of my 350 and i still get flamed. Every post i've started in the last month has either been locked or turned into a flame war against me in my car. I guess no one realizes that i try the hardest i can which included a big money 350 buildup that ended in turbo bearing problems and flaming. Do you all think your big and bad because you can sit here and pick on a 17 year old kid. Real tough guys. I know this is going to be locked so i hope everyone sees this before it does. The firebird sold today should be gone tommorrow, i'm looking at late 80's camaros but no guarantees. I probaly wont be back to this site i'll deal with the guys over at cosr and colorado f body before i'll come back to this site. It just amazes me how my post get locked because i ask a question about tech and it gets turned into a war and gets locked. Thanks for all your help josh14.

But before you go, where in those 2 attached pics is/was your turbo located? Did you take off all plumbing? In not trying to start flames but unfourtantely it will more than likely do that. Just wanting to hear your side of the stroy for those pics.

 

Funny everyone claimed i was making excuses earlier when i said i was shipping the turbo back because the bearings went to ****. Everyone flamed then you werent a part of it? Thanks then. the said the could either fix the bearings or refund me the money so i yanked the intercooler and all the other crap and just took the 2500 it was over heating anyways. The front air stuff i shaved down and worked in two ducts to sit under the car to get better airflow to the turbo. The intake pipe isnt in the pics.

PLUS the pics were on a kodak cd of when i took the pics up at bandimere. They arent great it is my car so if no one believes me i honsetly dont give a ****.

since when did u paint the engine bay black? and that motor was very dirty, didnt u think to clean it before it went in your car? even further more, the dual snorkal wont work because the hood comes down more than on a camaro, making the dual snokal not fit, people have tried, and it didnt work. why cant u come clean about it? or show us pics that include the front end? its dumb to leave the site because u dont wanna tell everyone that it was all a lie and u dont really have a 350 even less a turboed one. im not meanin to flame u i just want more proof, that really isnt enough, i can go find someones engine bay and say its mine, no way to prove im wrong right? till i see more proof

This will be the last one i'm just sick of the fact i cant even ask a tech question without it going to hell. Take for instance a few months ago i asked if any one knew about fake blow off valves, that sound like a turbo blowing off. My girlfriend who has a thirdgen wanted one for her bday and it ended up turning into a flame and then got locked. This is a site for tech, and i cant use it for that anymore so i'm out. I'm looking at buying a 86 Z28 so i MIGHT be back.

 

make sure the next thirdgen you get has the big block V6 in it! Those things were FAST. And they have a self cleaning valve in it so the engine bay is always ready to take pictures

 

If you want everyone to shut the hell up then why don't you go outside and take a picture of your car from farther away with the engine in it. I find it truely amazing that you can run out and take pictures of bird **** on your car but you can't take one simple picture of your engine.

So when will we get the turbo pics? I really want to add a turbo to a v6 Firebird parts car that I have; I'm thinking of replacing the v6 with a 350 and going turbo the rest of the way..

You can't lie about making modifications to your car.........no one will take you seriously.....Your best bet is to get a new screen name and some back on here, and don't post pictures of your car......then you can ask tech questions, without getting flamed.......

I can verify its your engine. The color of the fan matches your car so it MUST be yours

 

dude, it would be cool if you did pull that 350 turbo out of no where, but you f*cked up big time. We arent a bunch of import ****... we know what a 350 looks like, we know what a turbo is, we know what goes where and how and why. Yeah, it is pretty sad that the guy can't even post a thread without it turning into a flame war. I agree that he doesn't have any pics to back up his talk, but we have no proof that he's lying...and he has no proof that he has a turbo charged 350. Leave it at that people. LOCKED.
