I just price out my car for resale on Edmonds (not that I intent to sell) and it subtracted $4 bucks for color adjustment. What the heck is going on here?????

By the way, it priced at $4,000. If I wanted to sell I think I would try to get a little more than that.

 

well your biased if you look at from a 3rd person..when i sold my blue camaro i thought it was worth more than 3 k ...only got 1 k for it i mean there only collector cars to us...******* cars to everyone else....shame isnt it

I get more compliments on my car than I can count, and it's from ALL kinds of people. Sure there is a stereo type, but what car doesn't have some negative conotation?

$4000 sounds about right. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Most of us are not in this for the re-sale!

 

yeah well when your sick of getting 6 mpg because you put on the biggest carb you could you tend to say screw it and sell it plus my camaro was a pieace just too much to work on

You will get only what someone is willing to pay for it. With all the financing deals for new cars right now, it is a buyers market. I just sold my 5-speed RS and was asking $3000. I never thought I would get that much but I got it. It just depends on how bad the person looking at it wants it. Bill, I agree with you. I would think your color would bring a little more since it was only available in '92.

 

That is what I was thinking. I think the whole Prince Purple Haze thing from the 80's is killing my resale value.

I will have to overcome it with some ROH ZS's and an SS hood. Then it will be awesome. Except for the Mickey Mouse engine.

 

Sounds like a good plan to me. I think that color looks very good on a third gen.
