Who makes the best, brightest strobe lights?

I want to get strobes all through my car (side markers, headlights, tail lights) but I don't really know who makes the better quality strobes. I bought some from Autozone awhile back but they weren't very bright and they were kind of flimsy and now they don't even work. Also, I can't put strobes in the headlights because they're sealed beam headlights, so if anybody has suggestions about what to do about that? Thanks!

buy a ***** (import enthusiast ) magazine and I'm sure you can find 4,000 different ads for them that may describe their brightness.

What I have found to be of greater concern that the brightness is the flash rate. Any strobe you find for like $10, is going to flash at maybe once per second, maybe slower. The only exception I've found thus far is the "rope light strobes" at walmart. It's like 3 strobes on a 6 foot rope that flash in different patterns. Other than that, check out www.streetglow.com or www.liteglow.com and look at their headlight strobe kits. You'll also need to get a strobe control module. Don't buy from their online stores, go to ebay or yahoo shopping or something like that.

Two words, kill switch The way I look at it, it's just one of the 4 millions things I can have on my car but I can't use in public. I can have a big *** stereo, but I can't turn it up (but I still do), I can have my undercar lights, but I can't drive with them on (but i still do), etc., etc.

I have to agree with you tho, it is asking for trouble if you leave them on in a parking lot. I saw this guy one time at best buy with some POS honda accord but he had headlight strobes, so I noticed his car right away. If he didn't I wouldn't have given his car a second look. But I saw the strobes and thought, "hey I wonder what else he's done?". But as a typical "import enthusiast", the headlight strobes were about it.

I run my strobes under the nose, it's pretty cool cause the light jumps around in weird patterns under the front. It's just one more thing I use to **** off import guys. Man do they hate it when they realize you've got some good old American muscle under the hood AND you have all of their nifty toys.

I got a kit from Whelen 2 strobes, put them in the foglights....it's a tight fit but it works, haven't had a problem since. They cost me around $130, and they're bright as hell.

When and how often do you use them?

I have 6 strobes, 1 wig wag in the fogs and another in the high beams, rear traffic backer brake lights and oh a police siren in my car.
Before the **** police start going crazy I install these things for a living and I get them for free. I don't crazy go with them though.
