The best ya could do is an Emoticon..? I mean, if your opinion is so unoriginal it requires selecting from a group of general animated .gif's...how disapointing. I was expecting 'r*ce", or "g@y", or SOMEthing...

OK, I can't tell, are those supposed to be blue tailights or are they supposed to be clear?

If its either one of those...it is definitely "different"....

I wont give an opinion since I dont like those style of taillights to begin with. But I think as far as the law goes, as long as the lights are not blue, then its OK. But if the lense is blue, than any light behind will reflect blue, so I dont know how you would pull it off legally. If you want to try it, I know how you can do it (found some taillight paint from Japan). PM me for the info.

nope, don't like it. They're 2 different shades of blue, doesn't go well together.

It would be ok if it was body color.
Wouldnt it be illegal to have in the US. Cant have red or blue lights on a car that is not with law enforcement?

Yeah, it would be illegal. One girl down here in the Atl. area just got some jail time and community service for having blue Cateye lights on her cars hood. She didn't do anything wrong but pass a cop with an attitude and a judge that agreed with him.

Maybe you should do flourescent green.

I'd go for tinting 'em black before blue. If the blue tint doesnt match the body color exactly, it'll look like, well, um.....:lala:
Plus there's that whole 'blue light' legality issue.

Well, when the running lights are OFF, the colour is a very dark navy colour blue that matches the vehicle....the reason why they aren't here is due to the fact that the running lights are on, meaning the tails are, too. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Depends. Texas law states that they have to be red brake lights. The turn signals can be amber or red. The clear lights with red bulbs are not legal. The TDOT has not approved any red bulbs for use.

The altezza's with the small red round part over the bulb are not legal here either. Due to the fact that you can not see them from the required distance of 500 ft.

So you'd have to check your local area. Personally I have a dark blue metallic Trans-AM and I think a bright blue taillight would kick ***. I would prefer that it be done on the grid patterned 85-90 tail lights though.

Yeah I don't like those style taillights and I am not a fan of coloring everyhthing. I hate neon and wild graphics. Subtle and smooth is the way to go.

Looks pretty tacky to me...maybe it's just the color of those in particular, but the only major color-changing taillight mod I ever like are blackouts...

Thats my mod on the taillights. I always liked them because they reminded me of the Challenger Lights. I hated that amber section so I moved my turn signals up and to the corners and painted over the amber section.

I am very satisified with it. I think it looks better because the lights appear to be slimmer.

I like Devian's tail light mod. It does recall the blackout panels from Challengers/Chargers/Camaros and the like.

*What about painting out those little things over the 'vents' in the bumpers? Some semi-gloss black should match up well, make it look a little more finished*

Lol, I am not going to do anything with that, I got a new idea and theme for my car so I will be getting a different bumper altogether.

I'm not a fan of clear tails because I prefer the red tails with no amber section better. I think the stock looking ones have to go, they look big and goofy. If I were to choose alternative I would just go with some Trans Am tails. Maybe not different, but look pretty darn good.
