Hell yeah they look good. I almost bought a set at Carlisle last weekend, but the guy wanted 125 for the pair, and one of em was cracked pretty bad.
I want those in the worst way
But I think I'm gonna get the insides of an older set, and cut and replace the amber turn signal with the red piece, assuming I can cut it to fit.

I'm planing on the swap, but $$$ plus the harness needs to be either changed to the 91 or take the current harness and cut and splice.
I think painting the reflector stripe at the top of the lights body color would look even better.

i've always liked those lights.
I've got my set coming soon, just waiting on the seller to come by and drop them off.

I saw a set of those black crosslace rims on a junker Firebird in my area. Might need a little touch up, but how much do those usually go for??
yeah i am going to go for it, just need to find a decent priced set now. i am not sure about painting them the body color i think they will look great in stock form.

Yeah this car is just sitting in the junkyard collecting dust and dirt. I dunno why they don't pull the black crosslaced ones off and sell them on ebay. How much would those go for? I might just pick em up and sell them.
I'd have to get a new key for the lugnut to get those rims off. The car doesn't have the key for it and mine won't work, because I have a different rim. I'll probably just go to GM and buy one. I'm not sure about the condition that they're in but I'll see if i can get some pics too.

That sucks. The dealer says the lights were disc in 2001 so no more new ones avail
Yep--they were painted on. I was messing around today and started to take off the rest of the lettering--but I gave up because my drill was dying.
there's someone that sells replacement lettering for the lights, but I forgot the info. Supposedly they were a perfect replacemet.

$12, your choice of color. factory colors were red or charcoal gray, i believe.

you have to change 2 of the bulb sockets from the longer sockets to the shorter sockets. i wish i had pictures of what i meant, but i don't. it's just a clearance issue, the taillights won't go on because the longer sockets hit the sheetmetal. it's simple though. just cut and splice 2 wires on each side.

Thanx underdave for the info I'm a wiz with wiring so the whole turn signal thing is nothing to do just a little splice, solder, and heatshrink it. I did get what you meant but thanx to pontiacv8 for the pics. Hey IROCZTWENTYGR8 why do you say stock?

Actually I like the smoother look of the stock lights but I really like the blackout look, what I really want is a one piece smooth panel like Kit from knightrider but actually round and conforming like the stock lights not just a flat panel. I've been kicking around the idea of doing a single flat panel like the knightrider car for my 79 formula to kind of bring the cars look into the 90's

Well Formula, you could black them out with spray, get blackouts, or even get the earlier GTA taillights.

That isn't my car and those aren't blackouts.
The guy mixed some clear coat with black paint and gave the lights and center piece a few coats. Here's a pic with the lights on.
