how would this look

theres an 87 droptop Z28 up the street from my house. its been sitting for a while and the paint is al weather beaten, the roof leaks but the interior still looks nice, theres 80K on it or somethin. i was thinkin itd be a real nice cruiser, since its black id have it painted black again. i was wonderin how itd look with a real nice flat deep black paint job with single crome iroc stripe and maybe even a chrome style IROC-Z decal for the doors in the factory font. and have 18" iroc wheels on it as well, probably a 2" drop tooo. whatta u guys think? someone wanna photoshop go for it. i was wonderin if itd look to ric-ey or tacky

I don't think flat black would look good at all.

are u talkin to me, cause i never said i was going to paint it flat black. i said it was orignally black and thats what id paint it and that i wanted a nice flat deep black paint job done. meaning the paint is flat and looks like a mirror, not wavey, orange peeled, has runs etc. in other words a perfect paint job.

Hey, calm down man. You did say "flat deep black". I read it as flat black aswell. I think it sounds good except for the chrome stripe, maybe a silver would look better?

I thought you meant flat black as well. When people talk about getting a new paintjob, I assume it would be a good paintjob without orange peel, drips, waves, etc.

Anyway, I'm with the others. Chrome stripes just sound tacky.

Did you say drop top? 87? Z28, NOT Iroc?

Uh, don't do anything to it. aren't there only about 8 of them know to exist? Ask Willie over on History/resto.

Run the VIN...buy the car.
