i dunno, i would have to see the back....
the problem with all these retro designs is what will they do for the next restyle? the thunderbird and prowler have simply been discontinued... and the future holds the answers for the pt cruiser and the newest mustang.... what would chevy do after this fifthgen has ran its course? this has always drawn my curiousity about retro designs..... anyone care to add their 2 cents?

I agree...retro is a fad that should not be applied to every car out there. Sure it is fine to nod your head at styling cues of the past to to flat out make an all retro car it doesn't sit well. Some of these retro cars look like heavily modified old versions of themselves like the new mustang its looks almost straight from the 60's with different dimesions and materials. I think certain cars should just go on a progression through time. However that conept does look sweet.
I remember seeing it awhile back. I like it, but a 5thgen should look modern without the retro look. It can have retro stylings to it strips and such.

I like it. Looks tough. I like the new mustang also. I think reverse/retro styling is a good step for the next generation. Its really all new styling with just a few things that look similiar to the classics. Like the grill on that one. The rear ends of these cars I have not been as happy with because they have been going all bulbous and round with lights that wrap around the sides and stuff. They have to do something and I like the new/old look. Where will it go next? Who knows maybe they will just keep going back until we have a new 69 camaro body style completly updated with new suspension and technology. Fact is that the price will be going up for any of these new generation cars be it f-body or mustang you can bet the next round will cost 30+K.

I think it looks sweet!
You can tell it looks a little like a first
gen but not over done, like most retro cars. I do agree about it not being a 5th gen, but if that is what it takes to bring back the camaro then do it.

I like it, ALOT. I think it looks like a 67 maro and a 01 Ferrari 355 humped. It it were as fast or faster than an LS1 FBody I would buy it!

It looks like a giant Hotwheel or one of those Dub City models, but it's still pretty sweet. I'd buy it. I say the same for the latest Mustangs design, except the "I'd buy it" part, lol.
Off topic.
Also, in case you missed it, there was an announcement a while back saying that anyone posting useless crap in off topic threads (Such as IBTL) simply to increase their post count will be put on probation. So if Dirk or Brad put you on probation, you'll know why.
