Saw my old Camaro the other day.
Went with my friends to Cordova to see what my friends Mustang would run. My friend Joe pointed out that a Camaro driving through looked like my old one. I noticed that it had the same 4th gen seats I put in it. So I went to go check it out. Now it has a roll cage in it, engine bays painted and detailed, 4 inch cowl hood, Weld rims, 4.10's installed and has 3 inch exhaust. Talked to the guy and he says he was hoping for 12's. Should of easily done it now, but I never saw the guy run that night. It was packed though. It looked awesome. Glad to see the guys continuing with the plans I had for it.

I see my old one periodically... The roof and rear bumper had been repainted.
It was funny... I used to stop at a truck stop every morning for gas on the way to work. I noticed my old Camaro ('92 RS) sitting in the parking lot off near the road. I pumped the gas and my wife paid. I asked her to ask the cashier if she knew who owned it... She came out and I asked her what the cashier said. She said:
"The cashier looked outside and said, you mean that purple IROC? The waitress in the restraunt next door owns it."
I laughed when I heard "IROC". I guess the waitress fully believes she purchased an IROC-Z. People really do need to study up on cars that they are buying from small local lots.

I haven't actually seen my 89 RS in a while but shortly after I sold it the guy who bought it said the strut fell out while driving... well um not possible... (unless it was launched) so it had to be towed which in turn messes up the front lower valence (sp?) and then shortly after that I heard he blew up the motor, it was a 305 5speed... haven't heard anything about it in a while!

I think alot of people just call em IROC's cause that was the body style of the production IROC camaro, I get it all the time with my 91 RS. It's like calling any late 60's early 70's Dodge Charger the "General Lee". Or calling any '67 Mustang "Eleanor".
