looks good man. personally I hate maroon but... still nice, and the 350 helps .

my car needs a bit of TLC right now. going to sell it soon for something else. probably a fourthgen though. third's are just too much to take care of.

mine's black, 350L98 t-tops, leather interior, non digital dash. also has a 1 inch drop. which is already too much. I scrape every little bump .

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. Maroon/red wasnt my first choice in color, but i had to buy it after seeing the kind of shape it was in, and like stated 'the 350 helps

About the indy decals...my next post was going to be asking you guys about those! It's an 87, and the pace cars were in 83, 89, so im not sure what the previous owner did, any thoughts?

Pic of the interior,

dont laugh at the air freshener 'safari mist'!

Lol it sure is hard to find a decent third gen, atleast around here. I've been looking for 2 years non-stop. All that seems to be out there are high priced , ratty condition dealer cars...really unfortunate

Btw sorry about the quality of the pictures, i have full size pics but they got distorted on the resize

Unfortunately, about a month ago (prior to when i bought the car)the front end on this car was smashed up as well... it was a fairly minor hit, but the front bumber had to be replaced and painted. Took a look underneath and the bodyshop did a poor job putting things back in the right spots, typical i guess. For sure i will fix it up. If theres one thing that will detract from the value of the car that would be it...

about the price, i can tell you that after it was hit the old owner received around $14,000 CA in the settlement. Thats not the price i paid , but it gives you an idea

******Any comments , suggestions about why those indy decals are on this car?

The previous owner was an old man? One owner or?

Seems to me the previous owner put the decals on the car b/c they thought it'd look cool or belonged on there. I'd say take them off since they're advertising the car as something its not, athough they're DEF not as bad as putting turbo TA decals on a car

Decals or not, wonderful car man, enjoy it, drive it, and those t-tops better come out anytime its over 70

update on the indy decals:

apparently the old guy liked to take the car down to the states and race it every so often, which would explain the american flag on the headliner, and maybe the indy decals? We just flushed the tranny fluid and the guy there had serviced this car when the previous owner had owned it. He said that the old guy had these emblems on there basically since new....can you buy these kind of decals in the mainstream?

Interesting. I've never seen these emblems out in the mainstream before. But that doesn't mean there not out there.
