Rex I have one single question. Have the fitment problems with recent Ram Air I hoods been fixed? I remember reading about the latch and spring assembly having problems. I need to be assured of this before I'll buy a hood.

SS Hood

I Have a few question is the 10% off already sale prices like your SS Hood is 435 so it will make it 392. and some change + shipping and handling? Also when I receive the hood is the front of the scoop open or close like the BB Hood?

Thanks Donnie

i see i can get the hood through you but do you also sell the air box to make it into a fucntional ram air system. here is another sight that seels it so you know what i am talking about link .

Also is the ss hood functional as a cowl or ram air hood or ither or can it be made to be? And how tal is the cowl-scoop rise?

thanks again,
raptere

Hello the ss scoop height is about 2 ". the hood lets ai flowin from the from opening at the grill you would have to do your own design to route the air flow to your air filter system see ya rex

Just to back up a little, Eyecandy ask about fittment and the problem with the spring being on the wrong side. I understand you said fittment may depend on each car and granted that is the case sometimes, but why would the spring be on the wrong side? Has this been corrected? Just some concerns before a major purchase......Thanks
