I can't figure out how you guys get the images to stack under one post so here goes what I was playing with.
I extended the stripe and blacked out the rims. Rims would actually be a gloss black, not sure I like them probably leaning toward not but it does sort of give it a cool stock car look. What do you think.

To get the pictures to stack up, you need to have them hosted or uploaded to another site that will alow you to link the picture to this site... Some sites, like this one, wont alow there bandwith to be used for that, where some sites alow free linking or you have to pay for a certain amount...

I dont like black rims on cars for the exception of GTA rims with a higly polished lip.

Yeah, that would be a negative on the black rims.

als got it right on... only GTAs should be runnin black rims, IMO. And altho I like the billet look you've got goin now... you either need bigger rims or you need to lower that ride, the front is flying high and it shows in your wheelwell. That stripe is different/cool tho.

lose the chrome ****, find one silver/graphite/charcoal color and paint the whole car with it.

Thanks for all of your thoughts so far. Lowering the car is my next mod. I was wondering about different springs, everyone thinks Eibach prokit right off the bat, has anyone had experience with some of the less popular brands they have all over e-bay "drop-zone" I think is one theres another they sell for about 109 a set. Anybody have experience with these one way or the other.

As for rims I will stay with the polished rims, I do like black rims but I don't think these would look great in black, the black rims on this car just don't quite cut it.

As for the paint, and stripe, I think many TA's I have seen with the monocromatic (that was there sells monaker for this stock paint back when) paint can be boring. Most gunmetals I see I really don't like. On mine the aerowing is black, the short stripe on doors, all my hood vents, and also headlight covers, all black Ithink this really breaks up the paint and make the car stand out more. I am a big fan of the Platinums, and new GM, and some silvers look real good on these cars. Flyinlow's GTA is one of the nicest I have seen in that platinum color.

As for the chrome, HHmmm I know Jim is a purist and I hate when people put the thick 1.5" crhome around there wheel wells, I didn't think my slight trim looked bad. It will be time to either replace it or junk it by the time I get around to paint, with a darker GM I might keep it but I will probably go Platinum and lose the trim. You can't see it in the photo but there is also a thin pinstripe of black, GM, and bronze that follows the cars body panel lines down low.

Anyway thanks for the tips.
