how do u remove rain-stains?

just out of curiosity, is there anyway possible to remove old rain stains from my windshields-like any waxes or something? if I waxed my windshield would it take it off-is it bad to do so . . .?????

dish washing detergent should probably take care of that on the windshield, or if its really stubborn try a claybar. For "rain stains" on the rest of the body just buff it out with the use of some wax, you might just have to put a little more elbow grease into it. I had the same problem with my car after it had been sitting for a month through the rain, the whole car had turned brown from the dirt (and i had a white car), and to get out the stains i just buffed it really well.

You can also use 000 or 0000 steel wool. Rub lightly and it will take out tough water spots. Also try to use Windex or any other glass cleaner and rub lightly.

yea - the OOOO grade steel wool will do the trick . .

there are also glass abrasives (liquid) you can pick up . . .
