I think they look pretty dang good!
You should look into an SS hood or something of the like. Ya, even a Z28 hood would look good. It would look similar to this (my brother's, he just recently got it) I kinda like it:

Those look pretty slick! A "blister" hood would look right at home, and would be a pretty simple addition, however an SS hood would compliment those rims well. Regardless of hood choice, I'd paint the headlight buckets black.

car looks awesome. i love those wheels...
im not up-to-date on their pricing, but that seems like a good deal.
imo, an aftermarket hood would really set it off...

Now, we can even put all that aside, because maybe, just maybe, going as fast as you can isn't a priority for everyone. OR perhaps cosmetics come first for some, then making the car go as fast as it looks. WHO KNOWS... WHO CARES.

1st question..17 X 9.5's on all 4
2nd question.. Eibach Sportlines
3rd question.. i acutally did buy a 350 TPI from some one on this board.. said it had less than 80k on it, new heads, runs perfect.. too bad he neglected to tell me it spent the last 3 months outside in the rain.. i pulled the heads and the cylinders had 4 inches of sludge in them, sent the engine back and got all my money back too... BUT.. since i am getting married in less than 2 months.. i really havent had the time to dig into the engine as i use the car at least 4 times a week.
so cosmetic is alot easier for me to do at the moment. plus its cheaper and the last cosmetic thing i want is a hood. thats it.
i agree with painted the pockets black i was gonna do that on sat.
as far as the engine goes.. i havent updated my sig in a while, but what i plan on is a rebuilt 350(355) and use an LT1 intake.
but yeah having a car that looks fast and isnt.. sucks but im working on the speed factor.
thanks for the comments guys.

Just have a few questions for you about your wheels. I have been looking to get a set just like that but in black and was curious about where you got the spacers and how you knew you needed 2" spacers. I have an 89 Firebird Formula 350 and I would really love to get a set of those rims but just want to know all the parts I need and where to get them before I go and order the wheels. Any help you can give me would greatly be appreciated.

if you go to ebay.. and type in wheel spacers in the parts section, i found a company that makes them ALOT cheaper than some places people tell me to them from.
the add says " $175 for wheel spacers, any size" or something to that effect. its a company in FL. i had them in no time and at about half the cost of what people pay on here.. i think its 350$ with shipping and everything was 190 i think.
i was told i need 2" spacers from people on this board who currently have them. if they are from a fourth gen, then you need 2" all around, or maybe 1 3/4" (odd size). they are WELL made by professional company. i'll try and see if i still have the name of them.
as far as black.. they are little bit more hard to come by, but not impossible. best bet might be to find a set thats not see good looking, buy then cheap, then have them powder coated.
