New Paint! Sunset Orange Metallic?
Thinkin about painting my 89 formula sunset ornage metallic, like the new camaros and bird, what does everyone think? Think it'll be tacky or bea sweet ride?

Since you have a T/A, the orange would look sweet. I'd like to see the finished product. I'm a big fan of that orange color on everything except base Firebirds and base Camaro's.

No T/A here eyerock, Its a Formula, still think it'd be cool? It'll have a 91-91 nose on it too

I was contemplating that color for my bird, either that or black or stock red....I think its a great color for a thirdgen, and would great on anyones car. IMO

Let me elaborate, I think that color will look good on almost all thirgens except for early 80's sc type....IMO. I love it cause you don;t see many of them around so it's eye catching

a lot of people have already used that color on thirdgens...mine just has more metallic and pearl added for a custom mix

I say if you like a reddish orange then Sunset Orange Mtallic is a good choice. If you like more of a yellowish orange then Hugger Orange might be a better choice. Here's a small pic of the SOM on my 91Z:

That looks awesome, and mrdude, it may be pricey but its all good, for I work in the body shop at a Buick dealership, so I can get it dirt cheap
