Just installed my H4 Silverstars (pics)

The box with my old bulbs. Sylvania is called Osram in Europe.

My headlights already were converted to H4 using Hella housings.

Day shot. The light looks a little whiter than before.

View from inside at night. The light is really a lot whiter.

Had to throw this one in because I love the Firebird's taillights at night.

how did you go about hooking those light's into the exisiting headlight power line?
Did you need to make adapters?
Last one, How did you get them into the enclosed headlight? I was trying to figure out how to cut one open and do the same..

The connectors are the same. You just have to switch the wires. And I used H4 housings. They aren't that expensive so I wouldn't bother with modding sealed beams.

I was already looking into this and found these sites:

http://www.zx2racing.com/store/lenses.htm
http://www.sportscar-parts.com/mivas...tegory_Code=11
http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlight...ealed-beam.htm

I'm definitely going with the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs as well.

I've read other posts about this, and they all said you need a set of relays to make it work right? You did this without extra relays, or no?

Sorry, I can't give you the part numbers of the H4 housings since the conversion was done in 1992 when the car was new. They're probably no longer available or illegal in the US. The bulbs I used were Osram part number 64192SVS. They shouldn't be available in the US, but Sylvania makes US spec Silverstars. Also you don't need additional relays for the conversion.
