Moroso Red oil pan touch up paint?

I know it sounds kind of ****, but my Moroso oil pan is pretty scratched up and I'd like to touch up the scratches/scrapes before I install the engine so the exposed areas dont rust. Do any of you guys happen to know of a close color match spray paint or even automotive color that I can use?

Thanks!
Scott

What color are you painting the block and heads? I painted my Moroso pan Admiral blue to match the block & heads on my engine (and eventually the whole car). IMO, the oilpan should match the engine.

My block is painted black and the heads I left alone (aluminum). i wish I had extra paint to make the pan match the car. I guess I could just take off the sticker and paint the whole thing with a close match from the auto parts store. I didnt have time to call them today, so I guess if I'm gonna do anything, thats what I'll do. The engine is going in tomorrow and painting the pan in the car aint gonna happen

i dont think rust will be a big problem. those things eventually wind up covered in oil anyway. if it really bothers you id just go to the hobby store and pick up some model airplane paint. that stuff is great for touch up. not sure if it holds up to petroleum products though...
