Interesting; I've never seen that before. I'd be curious to see the black pockets on a one-tone car however. That didn't look too shabby though.

 

I'll do it to my Formula this week and see how it turns out.

Yeah looks great that tongue ring does it for me! Oh wait the car, the black looks ok on yours because you have black stripe at bottom and on hood. You take a monocromatic (paint jargon GTA marketing used) where the entire body is the same color than obviously it wouldn't fit.

I am planning on painting some black stripes on the ram air part of the hood when I eventually get the hood painted.

But I'll paint the pockets black anyways since the car needs paint and see how good/bad it looks.

I second that motion, just like the raim air hoods only really look good on the birds.

 

It looks like a bird with black eyes. I think it would look awesome if you could take this concept, and branch off of the black headlight pockets..

Single color is so plain. 2-Tone is where it's at.

 

Personally Zepher, the black looks like eye a heavy eyeliner applied and just reminds me of Christina Aguilera. I think we all know what I'm implying here.

I think it looks cool, but it just reminds me of that, which is why I have not done it to mine.

that is a crazy hood!! but its a 4th gen so I expect it to last about another couple of hours till a mod comes by and deletes that link.

as for the eye pocket thing... looks good on cars with dark colors and maybe just plan white... i liked it better on the first several tone painted car then on the badly photoshopped pic of the formy.

If I can get those sill panels so that I can mount the 91-92 T/A gfx on the Formula, I'll do a red and black theme on the car, similiar to my maroon and black theme on my T/A.

That 4th gen hood is something I would put on my car. I think it is one of the best hoods on the market.

 

i dont like the black pockets at all. imo a single color car may look boring to some people but sometimes less is more, it looks slicker with only one color, especially firebirds.

 

Ah no lol dude. Firebirds look very femine to me and that blacked out headlight pockets kind of made it look like a ***** - hence my Christina reference, cause I think she looks like a ***** with all that makeup.

I guess Zeph is going to pimp out another one to let loose on the streets.

I don't think the black on the Formula would look as good as the one on the TA.
