Iroc Turbo Hood
Hey everyone, I am thinking about getting the Iroc Turbo Hood for my 92 Camaro RS. what do you guys think about that hood? I was thinking either that hood or the SS hood, but i want to keep my car red w/ the black 25th anniversary racing stripes, and i don't think that it will look as good on the SS as on the Iroc hood.
Also, does getting an aftermarket hood reduce the value of the car? j/w Thanks!

ok, i really like the look of that SS hood. where is a good place to order it from? i was thinking hawksthirdgenparts.com. has anyone dealt with that company before? if anyone has any suggestions on what's a good reputable place to buy from please let me know. Thanks!

go to www.americansportscardesigns.com and give Rex Orr an email ( owner of ASCD which makes the SS hoods ) and hell give you a really good deal on a hood, hurry tho while the sale lasts.

the ss hood i believe is functional. The i find with the turbo hood more people dislike it then like it but in terms of functionality its utterly useless.
The SS hood currently has no function other then to let cool air into the engine.......
It looks damn mean though....
The IROC turbo hood is a love it or hate it thing......I myself am not a fan of it....I prefer the SS hood better......

isnt the turbo hood functional for the fact that it is a cowl induction hood and lets more air into the engine bay, plus it has the 3-4 vents on the side that let air in too. a few years back i say a turbo hood on a thirdgen, the vents on the side had little scoops coming out them to catch the air and throw it into the carb...i thought it was pretty slick
