Custom size OEM wheels

I've seen the 20(?) inch IROC-Z wheels advertised somewhere but I've never seen Firebird wheels.

Question is, does anybody make them?

I don't want to get rid of my Formula wheels because I think Pontiac got them right.

I'd keep my Formula wheels too if they could be found in a 17 x 9" size.

Are you wanting to get the Formula wheels in a larger size (like 20's)? Hm, I've never seen it. Not sure how that'd look...

i've never seen anyone mention any of those. 17" or 18" crosslace rims would be hella sweet

20 is way too big

17's or 18's would be nice.

Not that I'm rich but are there companies that do custom requests?

See, looks nice!

Too big for me though. 17x9, maybe 18, would be a nice option.

I think the 88(?) and up Formula wheels are perfect and I'm not getting rid of them for anything (except larger Formula wheels but I don't think that will happen)!

Oh well.

I'm not a big fan of the design. It always bothered me you could get basically the same design on cars like Sunbirds and Grand Ams. Thats probably why you don't see any aftermarket companies making larger size versions.

This is true but the 88' and up Formula wheels are different.
They are one of the reasons why I like the Formula's best.

Too bad they do not make any other factory type wheels in larger sizes. Like mentioned above the cross lace wehels would be sweet. And the weheels would also have to be wider than 8"! C'mon, you get a 17-20" wheel(IROC wheel) and it is only 8" wide. That looks bad IMO. Too bad there is not enough interest in this project for some company to pick it up and just do it.

Well,if Jesse James and the Orange County Chopper guys can get it done for motorcycles then maybe someone can find an adventurous CAD operator with the will and some billet aluminum. It would definitely be cost prohibitive unless you were the CAD operator.

Reinventing the wheel

Anybody know CAD? I'm sure that would cost more than putting a chunk of aluminum in a machine, inserting a disk and pushing a button.

one more thing....you guy can buy 255 or 275 wide tire for the 15" or 16" easily, the max tire for 15" in Taiwan is 225/60/15,
