who here has the lowest thirdgen or a picture of what they believe to be the lowest thirdgen?
driveable and show vehicles will work since some can't be driven for obvious reasons.

Probably not the lowest but at 5.5 inches at the center of the front spoiler, it was imposible to drive... no bags to lift it up. Certainly not that low now!

I took this picture back in march before i put new struts in. This is with the intrax 2" lowering springs. Once i put the new struts in it raised about a half inch probably.

I believe LowCamaro has the lowest drop since he can slam his car down to the bumpstops. If you want to go even further than that (its possible), you'd pretty much have to tub the wheelwells, and possibly even body drop the car. I've never seen that done before, but I would consider it extreme. It would look crazy!

mine is 5 and 3/4" and i wouldnt want it any lower then that unless you do some major mods like relocating front control arms or useing tubular ones or something. Or useing air bags and not driving it at anything lower then that.
theres a guy here that has a car that looks pretty low,,,some old pics are photochoped but some are real.

Yeah i would not want my car any lower then it is. I have a few dents in my y-pipe from bottoming out. I have to go abou 5 mph over rail road crossings and speed bumps hurt. Sparks fly out from under it, i once had a guy yell at me that my car was on fire while on the highway. And the air dam scrapes even under just hard braking. It took some getting used to driving it but it handeld better then any car i've ever driven before.

Not mine..but I wish it was. Saw this on ebay awhile back, lowest one ive ever seen. It was bagged and I dont think its physically possible to get the wheels any higher up in the wheel wells..although you could always cut them out ; )

Ok, something's fishy here. I measured my car and ground clearance at the tip of the front spoiler is 6.3 inch. I have dropped my car at least 2.5 inches, the airdam is exactly 2 inch above the ground. My wheels have stock diameter. So, the car of 3gc is equipped with intrax as well. I have cut them (dunno what he did). So why the heck does his car sit lower (more than an inch) to the ground than mine? I wonder why that is.....

Thats pretty bad IMO. I know its not driveable in that condition but it doesn't look good to me and i know it must not drive well if it were properly lowered to that spec. But the targa more than makes up for it!! Is that Chris', or did he just have that picture? He should chime in now! lol

Graboid my intrax springs are untouched. That picture was with shot struts, once i put new kyb struts in there it got a bit higher. I haven't measured it since. I'll measure it tomorrow if i get a chance.
i agree that the orange car is dropped quite a bit but i want to see measurements.....photoshop and other peoples vehicles who don't post can't count.
definately some low rides though, most of which could not be street driven that way. unfortunately i have 4" exhaust which limits me greatly to how low i can drop it and drive it so even though i can set it on the ground it doesn't count.
keep them coming!
